President's Message

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” It is an absolutes honor and privilege to become the President of BMANA California. BMANA CA has a long history of being the premier chapter of Bangladesh Medical Association of North America (BMANA). Being a nonprofit, secular, ethnic physician organization, I am committed to uphold the core values of BMANA CA.

  Members are the backbone of our chapter, and I continue to be immensely inspired by the volunteerism, courage and commitment of our members to make a difference in health care at our local community and globally. 

  The diversity of perspective and collaboration amongst Bangladeshi descent healthcare professionals with policymakers and community will result in significant gain for our community and also for our beloved mother land Bangladesh. I envision for a vibrant chapter with growing members participating in professional activities. BMANA CA members will empower them with sharing their experience and networking to reach the lives in need. Embracing the digital technology and delivering medical education and health care through Telemedicine can be a game changer. Our collaboration and engagement with other health care stakeholders and partner organizations will be our priority. We will continue to nurture our young physicians dream to integrate in American Medicine by creating research opportunities, clinical rotations and arranging medical missions.

  I firmly believe “Success is a journey not a destination.” By strengthening the spirit of camaraderie and high professionalism we all can enjoy this journey.
