President’s Message
Everyone says it, but in our case it’s true: our team is the secret to our success.

Dr. Ruby Hossain
President
BMANA-California Chapter
We welcome you to the
Medical Association of North America,
California Chapter (BMANACA).
My greetings and salam to all BMANA CA chapter members. I would like to give thanks to all the members of BMANA CA for electing me as the President for the upcoming period of 2022-2024. Although I am going through a very challenging time, I will still do my best to take this organization to a higher level. I am happy to inform you all of our upcoming 2022 BMANA CA convention which will take place on September 30th – October 1st, 2022 at the Universal Sheraton Hotel, located in the heart of Hollywood.
After Covid-19 pandemic, this will be our first convention. We have lost many of our dear colleagues, family members and loved ones in the past two years. They will forever be in our memories and prayers. We are currently working on making this year’s convention a success by incorporating new and creative ideas. Our theme for the 2022 convention is “Hollywood Glamor”. We hope to see you all along with your families and conduct the event with unity, love and peace. I would like to convey my appreciation to all the Elective Committee (EC) members for the dedication and hard work they are putting to help make this convention a successful one.
As your president, I have a few activities planned which will further enhance the prospect of this organization. These include: helping young physicians and medical students to ensure a proper and successful pathway to residency by providing them with guidance and extracurricular work, have educational CMEs and group picnics, and help our country Bangladesh as well as the United States with our wisdom and philanthropic work. Our goal is to move forward with unity and have a friendly atmosphere among all members. We will ensure a strong and wonderful relationship among our communities.
Our profession entails us to work hard and help individuals who are ill and in need of assistance, therefore we should be righteous and be willing to learn from our mistakes. I request you all to join this convention with positivity and confidence. Let us all come together bearing the best interest in our hearts for our organization.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ruby Hossain
President
