Building Healthy Communities
At BMANA CA, we envision a world where everyone has the resources they need to live a healthy, happy and fulfilling life. In our local community, we share health information, organize health fairs, and offer free health advice to uninsured patients. During the COVID pandemic, we set up a help line to answer the community's health questions.

Professional Development
Each year at our convention, we hold Continuing Medical Education sessions to keep our skills sharp. Through telehealth, we also share our expertise with underserved patients around the world, currently in Bangladesh and Kenya.
Career Development for Young Physicians
BMANA CA continues to support young physicians in their training. Our members mentor them through residency applications and interview preparation, arrange clinical rotations, and help create research opportunities.
Medical Missions
Our organization is built on compassion, integrity and accountability. As members of BMANA CA, we believe in the Hippocratic Oath: physicians have a special obligation to their fellow human beings, especially those most in need. In partnership with Hope Foundation and its founder, Dr. Iftikher Mahmood, BMANA CA started an initiative to support refugees sheltering in Bangladesh by organizing medical camps in the area. Our medical mission teams include US-based physicians, medical students and volunteers.
Physician Networking
BMANA CA members are passionate about making a difference in their physician communities, and we work together to make sure our programs meet the needs of our professional partners. Our main goals are to build bonds among physicians of Bangladeshi origin across specialties, share new developments in medicine, take part in educational activities with partner organizations, contribute to community health care, and support charitable work at home and abroad, including in Bangladesh.
